about me
Hi, I’m Xander Hinkinson mBACP. I’m a neurodivergent and nonbinary counsellor offering support for adults and young people. xph therapy is the name of my counselling practice. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, questioning your identity, struggling with anxiety, or recovering from past experiences – you don’t have to navigate it alone.
I’m an experienced counsellor who has worked with national and local services, schools and LGBTQIA+ support organisations. I help adults and young people with anxiety, identity and self-esteem, relationship challenges, trauma, neurodivergence, grief, and a lot more.
I know how powerful it can be to speak openly without having to mask or translate yourself. Therapy is a space to figure things out – even when you’re not sure where to start.
how I work
My approach is integrative – blending CBT, psychotherapeutic, and person-centred ideas, so the work fits you. We’ll explore what’s going on at a pace that feels safe and collaborative.
You don’t need to arrive with a perfect story. You get to show up exactly as you are.
